Hi, I have been kind of stocking up on full art trainers, which are textured.
I didn’t pay a lot of attention to them but I noticed on a lot of them the back edges are textured as well around the card.
I have 4 PSA 10 Brock’s Grit in front of me and three of them have it too.
So I take it this is a factory error?
From my experience many of the first print Evo cards had the texture visable on the back side. Later print runs didn’t have them.

I see, I’m surprised PSA will allow that on a 10.
I’d tend to agree. But on the flip side it’s the way the cards are produced so it makes some sense that it’s not necessarily considered a defect. Not my area of expertise!
Here’s some photos I took a while back showing the issue:

I have this on my hyper rares from an early print of guardians rising as well. I always thought it was crimping, but looks a lot more like this.

Have it on a lot of my cards, PSA lets it slide…not an error perse just something that occurs in the process.

The first thing I thought was that it must have been crimped too, then I thought maybe the seller damaged them by sticking 2 in the same sleeve.
I have something like this on some other cards, like an Italian Gardevoir SR from dark explorers I just got. Except its only on the back/front of the image, and looks like whitening on the back in the middle of the card. Also had this with a primal groudon FA and a landorus ex FA
