Anyone submitting artwork of their own Pokemon card design?! OR I’m also just wanting to hear what people think about the contest and the eventual promos that come from the winners! The 2022 Illustration Contest has a “daily life” theme and the parameters are to “draw a picture of it that shows it going about its day either while adventuring or while enjoying its daily life.” The pokemon subjects to choose from is Bulbasaur, Charizard, Pikachu, Arcanine, Galarian Rapidash, Scizor, Greninja, and Cramorant. I think this is super cool! And awesome that this is the year it’s open to US residents as well as residents of Japan. So… Even if you aren’t artistic or submitting anything, do you generally enjoy the cards and all that comes of it? Is there a Pokemon of the group you would love to see a promo of or some attention to? I guess just general discussion on what people think of the whole contest and the artwork that comes from it. Well, and sometimes much more which comes of it, like new potential illustrators. I think it’s awesome when the company branches to the general public because there are so many talented artists who have a lot to offer in terms of design and everything. And the cards are so unique, it’s really something I think is super cool!
