I’m here to share, after months of extreme budgeting, my cleanest acquisition yet!

I really appreciate all of the love and help from you guys in my pursuit of my dream card. This really makes me believe in this community!

Not the rarest card, not the most expensive, but as they say, sentimental value trumps all! And this is my most sentimental piece!

Congrats man! You may not be “original” for having this as your dream card but the fact that so many of us share a love for this card is kind of what makes it so special, isn’t it? When we were kids, almost none of us knew about trophy cards or anything else. The 1st edition Base Set Charizard was THE card of legend, and acquiring it is the fulfillment of our childhood wishes. You got a beauty.

I completely understand where you’re coming from bro, I’d say it’s a dream card in the instance that it’s a huge challenge of a card to get, especially with prices increasing over the years!
It was the final one I needed to get to finish my set of 8/9s aside from another dream card of mine, this Miscut Charizard I got years ago:

Funny enough, I feel that all of my cards are dream cards in a way, as they’re cards I value extremely and doubt I’d ever part with unless “life hit” but obviously with a heavy heart!
(But never the signed cards, especially the Chris Rush Mewtwo)
The all-time card I’d love to get is the Trophy Kanga, but I know for a fact it’s way out of my budget and will continue to slip further away as the years go by!

(For now, my bank balance is crying haha)

Took a long while but receiving it made everything really worthwhile…
Felt like I had to share the experience with you guys! Not the biggest, not the best, by any means, but symbolic and that’s why I love seeing people share their collections and goals!
Each collection tells a story and that’s what I love.
