As some members know, a Non-Holo Base card with the “thin” version stamp is incredibly rare. Recently I purchased a few collections that included 1st Edition Base cards (I may have mentioned I like 1st Ed Base).
After looking through everything, I found a thin stamped Red Cheeks Pikachu! Here are images below, with the normal “thick” stamp on the left and the “thin” on the right:
Are thin stamps when the 1 is thinner? Because the stamp itself looks thicker on the right. Don’t know very much about them. But congrats for the nice find.
@smpratte Is the equation still 3 thick stamps = 1 thin stamp? If so I’ll trade you 3 + 1 extra for it.

The term is based on the thickness of the number “1”. The thicker 1 is on the left, with the thin on the right.

Very rare occasion in life that thin is better than thick
I’ve been bugging you about a picture of a grey stamp Red Cheeks for the article. Of course I’d love to buy it, but just a picture is already enough. 
@smpratte That’s the second Smudged Thin stamp Red Cheeks Pikachu I’ve seen (you can see the other in my article, which @megacon unfortunately didn’t want to sell). Not sure I have the funds to make you a fair offer right now, but let me start by asking whether you’re willing to sell it, Scott? Or will it stay in your own collection?

It’s probably ex-nm. I didn’t give it a full inspection, just didn’t a quick couple scans, but a solid binder copy!
