I really like it as it can be a piece on itĀ“s own, just for display. ItĀ“s a great way to pay tribute to your favorite card/PokĆ©mon while calming down a little and cutting the card. This was a thing in MTG already 10 years ago, surprised that itĀ“s that new to the PokĆ©mon community. Also for all the big time unlimited common investors out there: itĀ“s removing supply

I follow db_hopeslash on Instagram for 3D art. They do extremely detailed YGO 3D cards with this one being my absolute favorite.
As someone who collects Pokemon for art and favor water types, I hope to see a 3D underwater scene.
I love this. I would love to have one to put on display beside my booster boxes and plushes!
Itās not really new actually. Iāve seen a few people do it, mostly with Yu-Gi-Oh though. I think the earliest ones Iāve seen were from about ten years ago. I actually made one myself about two years ago: www.elitefourum.com/t/quuadors-collection-pikachu-around-the-world-autographs/14735/148. 
Although nowhere near as professional as the ones shown in the videos, Iām still happy with how it turned out with my two left hands, haha.

This has been getting done for years and years, Iām surprised itās ānewā for pokemon. A lot of the ones Iāve seen have the text area of the card turned into life counters for other games so they donāt have to use dice.
I love this idea, do you have an example?
Itās turning a lot of bulk into nice display pieces, where the art of the card takes a center stage. Also the amount of time and patience that goes into creating these pieces is commendable.
