The rumored WOTC set Jamboree

I’ve always had a theory that the rumored set " Jamboree" was just gonna be the VS series from the Japanese side. Does anyone have any information on Jamboree?

Everything is ultimately a rumor. That is one that has been around for awhile. Certain “cards” have appeared claiming to be jamboree. I put them in quotes because some are literally just sharpee on a card. Ultimately the myth is the most valuable aspect of jamboree.

Its definitely real, I know a couple of people on Discord who passed up buying a set last year!

It was a rumor in 2002 and it still is.

Perhaps the most interesting tidbit from the article is that a lot of the card designs intended for Jamboree showed up in the early Nintendo sets.
