Do you pay more for increased value in the collection, if not, I would go with collectiblesguru. If yes, maybe another member could help? I dont think there is a profressional pokemon valuer though.
I personally wouldn’t bother insuring your collection. Too hard to prove the value of the cards and not convinced any of the insurance companies would truly pay up in the event of theft or some sort of disaster that damages the cards.
Better to just spend some money to put your cards somewhere extremely safe, IMO.
This is what many use (in comics and sports card world and increasingly in pokemon) and they even offer shipping insurance when sending for grading etc. They do not require an appraisal and pay at FMV of recent sales
