OCD is me. Sorry but I had to…
Here’s my setlist for nonTCG:
Here’s what I used to build the Scratch tab for it:
I just wanted to clear up one little thing on this list that YAMWAX may have made an oopsie on; or an oversight? #85 is Dodrio not Dugtrio.
That one small discretion made me question everything.
Someone that has EVERYTHING from these two sets, can you verify?
I’m 6 cards deep into this collection and would love to buy a bunch, i just want to make ABSOLUTELY sure there’s two sets of 36 for budgeting purposes.
Thank you, @accio and everyone else talking about this stuff!
I kind of wish I still kept all of the packs I used to have. It’s hilarious to think in 2019 I was just handing them out to a few vendors for free. I wish you luck on your search. I love these strangle little pieces of the non-TCG.
Just checked your excel link, nice work!! It would be awesome if something like this could eventually turn into a full website with like a guide of all the non-tcg collections worldwide. For discovering more card and sticker collections i would recomend you to check out different species collectors, you will be surprised at the amount of rare niche pokemon cards and stickers that exist out there.
Ps. You have the funskool listed as unlicensed, i know this has been greatly debated but here is my opinion: funskool had the license to produce pokemon merchandise, including cards and stickers. The problem is they made the cards very similiar to tcg, so from most of the tcg pokemon community these are unlicensed, but from the point of view of non-tcg these are perfectly licensed (as non-tcg). That explains why the following funskool set (Who am i? set) was completely different and did not resemble tcg anymore, proving that they did have license to produce non-tcg cards. They were also not the only ones with licenses, Alpenliebe also released several sets of cards, and more recently in 2015 the were some pokemon kelloggs cards released in India too.
@azulryu Thanks! I’m late to the NonTCG game, i know… but as an adult i finally have the funding to mass-purchase weird shit. Thanks IT career!
@Julius19 …honestly I might. I’ve emailed Pokellector to let them (him?, idk…) know i have scans of all Vending series in NM condition for his site, but I only collect Japanese. Pokumon.com specializes in Promos
Pokellector loads quickly. PCG-search.com has everything Japanese pretty well;
I also look at reference sales (sold sometimes) to find details from hareruya, mercari, ebay, yahoo, card-search, cardrush, etc…
Pokeboon, Bulbapedia, Serebii and Quuador know everything else i need! (lol hey @quuador)
And I use this site for the Crunky cards that nobody outside japan seems to know about yet: クランキー初のポケモンデザイン全18種類公開!遊びつくせるパッケージ企画も満載!「クランキー<ポケモンデザイン>」「クランキー<クッキー&クリーム ポケモンデザイン>」発売 | 株式会社ロッテのプレスリリース
(I collected every wrapper for these, iirc, went fkn nuts)
Another nice non tcg site is myfigurecollection, despite of their name they have a lot of other non tcg items listed too than just figures. There’s an option to search by pokemon and see what merch exists of it but also an option to search by different sets, here’s an example of both:
Oh REALLY? Idk what we talking about rn but that’s a beautiful collection! happy to see in completion for soothing the anxiety
thanks for at least that! (and probably more)
