Top 20 most expensive pokemon cards of all time [BUT ACTUALLY ACCURATE]

I’m tired of this. Countless attempts have been made by ignorant clickbait artists to try to create a list of the most expensive cards. They all suck. They use unsold listings, fake sales, unlimited machamps/fossil error krabbys, copy and paste from other lists that suck. We deserve better.

I want to make 3 lists.

1. An accurate list of most valuable cards in this hobby. Based on multiple data points, kept up to date of real sales.

2. An accurate list of cards that have sold for the most amount of money even if the price can’t be replicated (think Neo Lugia, topsun charizard)

3. Possibly a list with no sales history but could be record breaking if they sold.

Help me. Post links to the highest sales you know of or just cards that probably deserve to be high on the list.

To start, let’s prioritize items that have sold for >50k. Eventually, a nice and accurate list will emerge.

To add to this price-point, I’ve sold my PSA-10 EBD trio for 150k USD privately 3 weeks ago.

After that I’ve also heard of another 100k private sale and 130k card shop sale for just the Lillie, and someone is offering 165k for just the Lillie (he might have already found it by now).

And I’m pretty sure the Acerola has reached that 50k+ USD threshold as well by now…

On the other hand, I think that non English/non Japanese variants of TMB2001/2002 might be record breaking if they appear on sale
