Has anyone been able to figure out how to determine whether Topps Canadian distributed vintage boxes have English or French cards inside? Or do ALL Canadian boxes with the dual English French print on the exterior have English cards inside? Any insight would be appreciated. Some example boxes below. Dave & Adams sold the Movie 2000 box and claimed English cards inside.
In Canada we are required to have both languages printed on the outside of any retail merchandise. From what I can recall, the TOPPS movie cards are printed in English only. I’ll have to pull out my binder to verify that.
I’ve seen that mentioned elsewhere in this forum, but I wonder if that applies to all the topps boxes such as Series 1-3 and the First Movie boxes. Ive never seen a Canadian Chrome box but I suppose they exist too…
As a Canadian, this is how I would expect an English product to be packaged
The packs also have French and English text but all the cards are English. The French sets from France come in a weird white pack
Yo I’m fascinated by the topps cards. I’m gonna do some research on my own but figured I’d ask - is this an easier way to get your hands on packs or are they pretty much the same price?
I assume(given its not en français) they’re the same cards? I’ve only ever bought a few singles cuz most are in such bad shape. Opening a pack would be so cool.
I seem to remember those packs only being the silver blue logo set but i really cant say for sure. Doesnt seem too easy to get packs these days
Heres the actual french pack.
Also ive only ever seem those canadian boxes for series 1,2,3,first movie, and movie 2000
