NO SELLING!!
I did wonder about this actually. Is it a legal thing? I wouldn’t mind seeing trusted members being able to sell. Mainly because I would rather buy from someone from here (and even pay a bit more) to avoid some of the crackerjacks on eBay.
Mods don’t want to deal with it. It causes people to come in with only the intentions of selling, which isn’t what anyone wants this place to be. The worst threads are already in the WTT/WTB section.
Overall, it doesn’t make much of a difference, the people selling put their items on eBay. Most members that are active sellers have their eBay pages well known by others, or put their ebay in their sigs. So, you can always find what someone is selling if you click on those/know their username and message them here.
It’s not allowed on the forum. I think it used to be back in the day, but too much spam and negativity ended it. It would be cool to have a platform on here to sell, but heavy work for the mods and it also puts the sites reputation at risk with spam and people not shipping
