Reaching out to the Aussies and other travelers, Just wondering if there might be anything in Sydney, Canberra, or Melbourne worth taking an extra stop for. We’ll be driving between these cities so anything close would be up for consideration. Doesn’t have to be Pokemon related but extra points if it is! Ha! Happy New Year!

I dont know if having your pokemon faint from being poisoned anytime you step out of the start town is a selling point.

There isn’t much Pokemon related in Australia unfortunately. I’ve heard Melbourne have some good card shops but compared to other countries they can be disappointing.
I’m not from those cities so I don’t have any good travel spots to offer sorry. I did enjoy Melbourne last time I was there. It has lots of great coffee shops and the trams are fun to ride around on.

You might like to check out Luna Cards while you’re in Melbourne - they have a nice selection of vintage and modern Pokémon in display cabinets and binders. Hope you enjoy your trip!
