Tropical Mega Battle Phone Cards: Real vs. Fake

Sup Guys,

Wanted to give a side by side comparison of what a real T.M.B phone card and fake one look like side by side!

Doing this because I’ve had a lot of people ask what the difference was in looks, size etc!

Enjoy!

Sorry for the picture quality, using my Iphone 6 instead of a scanner :stuck_out_tongue:
Edit: Added which on was real and which was fake

Which is which?

I have no idea either xD

@pokemontrader @limeh

Fixed

Dang those are COMPLETELY different in terms of look.

On another note I saw your instagram and that shirt pic.

Condense Pokemon cards down into a liquid form and then inject them into your blood stream. Depending on the combination of cards, the results with differ.

Hint: Use a lot of Machamp, Hariyama, Conkeldurr, and Hitmon lines to get mad gainz.

I prefer to use snorlax and waikord for bulk phase. I’ve currently been on that plan for 2 years.

I think that 2 year part is due to adding a bit of Slowbro to the mix man.

I never knew that a card (is it really fake, or perhaps a Media Factory promo) was made using the phone card artwork.

I’m curious whether the card version has indeed been determined to be a fake. And is is made out of plastic like a phone card, or card stock?

That card in the photo is 100% fake. The card stock, if you can call it that is terribly wrong. It is sticky, and feels like it was printed at office max. It also looks bad in person compared to photos.

After Jeremy showed me them I got a copy for reference to verify everything in person, and they are without a doubt fake.

The colours on the fake also seem to be really bold if you get me, the energy symbols also seem to be “popping” out of the card more than on usual cards to me.

Thanks, @smpratte and @woolsluk, for the feedback on the fake card!

The saturation is way to high.
