Has anyone noticed these three dots in exactly the same place on the top border of First Edition Base Charizards?

Yep noticed it before, it doesn’t happen to all of them thankfully.

Look at the right border there’s a dot that matches as well.

If you’re wondering, it doesn’t affect PSA grades too much.

If you want another example look at the last nine Heritage sold. Has the same dots.

So it’s just a rare printing variation (seems like a small minority of the cards have it).

Guess it’s similar to the “red dot” Blastoise printing variation?
