I recently picked up this 1st Edition Typhlosion 17 in my search to complete neo gen 1st set. Just wanted to get some advice on were it stands as to me it looks pretty damn good. The only things i noticed was the black dot , unsure if this is actually a recorded error and could bring down the potential grade? Other than that the holo looks pretty spot on but the back is slightly off centered but i think its within the psa tolerance to not bring it down. Thoughts and comments would be great from anyone with experience getting this card graded as i understand its hard to achieve a good grade on it, is it possible i have found a 9? Thanks
could be a 9, could be a 5/6/7 with a small dent/nick/bend. Only you can see that in person with a good light and lots of moving around. Or sent it to psa and find out?
Black dots shouldn’t deduct anything. I’ve personally graded one with the EXACT same dot in the exact same spot and got an 8-- card was flawless other than a couple print lines. Sold it and the guy got it regraded as a 9 first try. Prior to submitting, I made pretty much the same thread:
