As an in-depth extension to my Am I missing any cards which feature Pichu in their artwork? thread here on E4, I’ve just put up a new post on my blog titled “Pokémon Cards Featuring Pichu” which details the 10 cards with 112 variations I’m aware of which feature Pichu in their artwork but do not include Pichu in the card’s name. You can view the blog post here: pichu.blog/cards-featuring-pichu.
With this I’m offering two levels of bounties for any of you who may know of cards or variants which I’m not already aware of (be it in my E4 thread, new blog post or collection spreadsheet - whichever may be most up to date):
$10 if the card was released more than 12 months ago;
$20 if the card was released before 2009.
It could well be that I’m already aware of all card artworks which feature Pichu (which to be honest I’d be pretty sad about), but I’m sure there must be a few out there I’ve simply never spotted. I’m hoping a small monetary incentive will help boost the search effort.
Thanks man, I appreciate it
But by all means, please keep your money. I had a lot of fun on the hunt and knowing I could help you with your collection is satisfying enough for me
I’ve never really looked too much into these, however I wasn’t aware Pichu featured on any of them so that’s interesting to know. I’m only looking for regular TCG cards (or jumbo cards) here though.
Well done @muk ! I’ve never even seen that artwork before until now. Amazing a new one popped up!
And not to hijack this thread, but if anyone comes across an artwork featuring a Seviper apart from the Battle Frontier and Team Aqua’s Kyogre EX cards while searching for Pichus, let me know as well please.
I already went through my entire 10k+ cards collection twice in search for Pichu cards, so unfortunately I’m unable to help you any further, @pichufan . I remember when I posted this two years back:
And to this day it’s still the only time I’ve been unable to find any more cards featuring a Pokémon when someone asked me.
It’s a little embarrassing to say that I have 3 Tyranitar Constructed Standard Deck boxes which this card is also part of. Just shows how easy it is to completely overlook things if you don’t pay close attention.
