The Holo is wrong and Charizard’s wing shouldn’t be touching the border. So I would suggest it’s not real.

The holo foil pattern itself looks too crisp and clinical, there’s not the depth to the holo that’s present with the blurry edged galaxy background. Admittedly this is on the more convincing end of fakes

In a situation where you’re offered a high grade 1ed charizard, and it’s urgent… and its a 0xxxxxxx cert… You have your answer right there.
As for the “older” case, I’m pretty sure there should be some circular nubs around the inside perimeter, doesn’t appear to be there in that last photo

Just curious, what was the price ask? If it was anything under $20k, it was fake, you didn’t even have to ask imo

Absolutely fake.
- The holo pattern is incorrect.
- Charizard illustration is right-shifted.
- The card is speckled with the underlying holo pattern because it is likely missing the white core layer that authenticate Pokemon cards have.
You could also ask to see the black core layer on the edge/corner, as fakes won’t have that.
This wouldn’t pass the sniff test in person. If someone is urgently selling you a five-figure card, it’s almost always going to be fake.
