Just curious - wondering if I am the only one seeing a significant decline in USPS’s ability to deliver tracked packages, both domestically and internationally. Tracked packages simply just disappear (for both US and international shipments) and/or take an amazingly long time to get to the buyers, especially overseas. How are you adjusting your shipping in this covid-19 world?
I’ve purchased like 20 cards these last two weeks, USPS has delivered all of them with no issues
I´m located in Germany and have ordered a few things via USPS recently. Two were delivered at normal speed (6-10 days) whereas 1 is completely lost right now (20 days no movement) and one is stuck in LA customs office. I´d say that (significant) delays should be expected. Right now, there´s more important things to worry about than delayed shipments anyways.
Anything overseas I would expect a delay.
I have about 6-7 international shipments in limbo but the domestic traffic is flowing as normal.
Two separate transactions from Mainland US earlier this week. Both shipped on Wednesday, and both will be in my hands today in Hawaii. I would actually say that it’s moving faster. As others mentioned, expect delays internationally.
Ive ordered a bunch in the past two weeks from overseas myself but havent seen any noticeable difference just yet. I had one order from Canada delayed a few days, but other than things coming to me have been fine. Sending out ive only had US orders, and all those went oddly quick for what its worth, but who knows what might happen in a little ways down the road.
Yepp, i had one pack from a fellow member of this forum that was initially labeled as “lost” after 1-2 weeks of no info. Then about almost a month later somehow it appeared and was delivered to my final destination.
So yeah i think they might be working but delays are kinda inevitable and estimates are wonky.
In my experience, packages have been arriving as normal. I must say though that one of my packages did require signature confirmation but my mail person just left the package in my mailbox and marked it “signed by receiver”.
Maybe they were nervous? Hahaha
My outgoing packages have been perfectly on time, both domestic and international. My incoming packages I never pay attention to timing/tracking so not sure.
I had a package from Italy take about a month. From what I can tell though that’s normal-ish. Was also sent out before the big forced lock down there.
I have had 3 packages come from the US in the last couple of months via USPS, one was before all this corona virus business started which took 9 days ( Priority Express ) to Sydney, Australia.
The next two have been in the last 2 weeks and have both taken only 5 days !
Doesn’t seem like there is any clear pattern haha
Shipped a few things to Italy last week got there pretty quick. Sending more today
instead of free bonus cards I’ll be including hand wipes.
I Shipped a package to the Netherlands a couple weeks ago and it was delivered on time. I’ve also purchased over thirty items in the last week and a half and they all came as expected. In fact, I won an eBay auction Saturday afternoon and it already showed up at my post office this morning.
FYI, for anyone buying cards from Japan, I saw this posted on ZenHub this morning:
"Attention! Japan Post notified us that today, April 1st, will be the last collection of EMS, Airmail and SAL parcels for the time being. (EXCEPT for EMS and Airmail parcels to: Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, Philippines, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Macau, Malaysia, Australia, United States of America, Canada, Mexico, Iceland, England, Slovakia, Slovenia, Germany, France) We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience. DHL, FedEx, UPS and SF Express are still available for use, however, changes to these services may also be in effect. Please kindly note that certain items cannot be shipped. Please check the forbidden items list (food, beverages, sanitary items, health supplements, and others)."
I haven’t had any issues with purchases or sales.
i have too many packages / money stuck in chicago customs clearance right now. things have been sitting in there for over 3 weeks now. thankfully most have been patient. others might just have forgotten about their purchases. Really hoping they all make it through eventually.
Same…
I average about 10 sales a day on eBay and haven’t had an issue with shipping or receiving a package just yet.
How long you guys think these packages in Chicago will be delayed ? Have some there myself. What’s going on over there ?
