Vending Series price check

Hey boys and girls,

what do you think would be an appropriate price to pay for…

  1. a full set of Vending Series 1-3 mint ungraded cards?
  2. a full set of all unpeeled sheets of Vending Series 1-3?

NOTE: I’m just talking about the regular cards/sheets, not the expensive WHF sheet #00.

I purchased all three sets unpeeled for approximately $170 per set (around 6 months ago). They might have gone up somewhat in price and I would therefore say that a price of $200-$220 per set would be decent.

I got all 3 for 300, but that was 3 years ago. Sounds like a deal now lol

That sounds like a steal indeed. I recall that these sets were really cheap in the beginning but they have been slowly increasing in price over the years.

Series 3 has two versions. The special one is the one hard to find and it will cost you more for sure.
The Bill’s PC Card was only available in the 1st print run. It was not printed in the more common run that followed. This much rarer 1st print run sheet features an illustration of Bill on the back and also explains the Masaki campaign. The Bill’s PC card was required in order to obtain the Masaki promo cards. This sheet was only available for a brief period in Japan, 1998. This sheet was from the 1st and much smaller print run of the Vending Series 3 Promotional cards. There are very few copies of this sheet still sealed as everyone pulled the cards during the Masaki Campaign

I purchased this sheet 10 years ago and pulled all the cards from it myself, along with all the other vending series sheets. I still have the videos (of absolutely awful quality) on my YouTube channel.

It’s crazy to me that vending series cards don’t sell for more. All beautiful Japanese exclusive cards that are just so unique. But there just aren’t as many people interested in Japanese cards, even when they’re Japanese exclusive.
