Hi guys, so I have both versions in PSA 10 and I wanted to know your thoughts on their value. The only sales data I can find dates back to August, $295 for the holo and $229 for the reverse holo. (I think the reverse should be worth more in this case)
I know it’s a niche set with low pop numbers, but does any of you have more recent/accurate numbers?
If you put them on a $0.99 start auction, you will find out the market value 
For this set it really just depends on if a full psa 10 set collector needs it or not. I’ve been in bidding wars for these 10s and paid a lot then another copy comes up later and sells for much less. There are only a few people going for full 10 sets so if they all have that card in a 10 it probably won’t get much. Like the reverses in auction lately only getting $40-$50 for a 10. But cards like venusaur will always have a larger demand since it’s a popular character so I don’t think the price would ever tank like some of the others have. I’d say for the current demand of 10s those sold listing prices should be pretty accurate.
True. I know it’s a niche set. I’d value the holo about same as Unlimited Base($300-350). I’d like to think the Reverse is worth about that as well. A blastoise RH just sold for $580, but as you said it depends if a certain collector is going after a reverse 10 set.
I guess I’ll just be patient. I’m not in too much of a hurry to part with them.

I guess we’ll find out soon the current market value on both. I just sold a holo for about $335 USD. Have some offers on the reverse but I might wait to see what kind of price it goes for by Saturday.
Probably shill bidding going on… Stay tuned. The holo is up to $560 from 2 bidders with 95 and 100% respective bidding history with the seller.

Edit: Same happened with the Jolteon LC holo. Same 2 bidders. I’ll update this post later or tomorrow morning when these auctions actually end.
Looks like it only happened on these 2 cards. Weird. $560 Venusaur and $475 Jolteon, everything else went at or under market value with what appears to be legit bidding.
