Vintage Games

Hey!

I can’t find a vintage games thread (atari etc.) on here so I figured …

I recently got a bit of CIB and Sealed …

I’m sure a few people other people have some as well if not then definitely Pokemon games

Looking forward to seeing some collections!

I was initially looking for a thread to ask if anyone’s ever seen a factory seal like this one? (on the spiderman)
If so, would this be something a grading company would recognize as well?

Thank you so much

very cool! I only have a copy of (Japanese) Pokemon Green. actually completely mint condition too. I gotta find a good way to store/display it to keep it fresh. Id like to get a few others like maybe Metal Gear Solid in the future

I just purchased clear protective cases from Ebay seller: buzzandbingosmooncircus for cheap. Looks good for display and keeps everything safe and protected.

I got myself some Japanese games while i was there during holidays.
Was so happy to find some boxed GB and GBA games and got myself a Japanese gamecube to play some japanese games…

Really cool. Vintage games is definitely something I wish I’d started collecting earlier. I’ve started a small collection of sports video games though, since that what I mostly grew up playing. So far I’ve picked up original copies of Tyson’s Punchout!, Tecmo Bowl, Madden football and NES Ice Hockey. Mostly CIBs, but I did just snag my first sealed game - a “Kobe Bryant NBA Courtside” for N64. These old games display really well and even resonate with my non-collector friends.

That Courtside N64 game had some hilarious one-liners from the in game commentators if you ever decide to open it up

I started collecting Retro Video Games, lots of cool nostalgia from the Snes through Gamecube and PS1 → PS2!
