I made this post (https://efour.proboards.com/thread/22415/value-sealed-walmart-pack) a bit back on whether or not to keep this “value pack” sealed and the consensus seemed to be to keep it that way. Now I’m wondering how to price it out. Should I just add the value of everything inside together?
The packs are probably unweighed unless Walmart’s reseller was doing that back in the day, which feels doubtful given they cobbled these together from loose packs on hangers (notice the long stems)
And if you are going to crack it, then it just becomes the value of the cheapest packs on ebay cause then no one is able to verify that it is unweighed anymore.
@dreamtech , Do not crack this if you want to maximize the money you can get. Right now, all packs inside are considered unweighed, because they cannot be weighed (duh). The second the packs are removed from the package, there is no way to know if they have not been weighed. As others have said, keep this sealed. The price you should go for is the combined value of each individual pack (that you can find by sorting by “sold” on ebay) + a premium because this is unique packaging, and: these packs are unweighed. This is what brings a premium.
I’m not exaggerating by saying that you are looking at thousands of dollars here.
