What are people's experience selling on Courtyard / minting their collection via Brinks?

Hi there, I’ve been buying and selling cards mainly on eBay and FB Marketplace.

I recently got an email from PSA from one of their partners called Courtyard[dot]io. Does anyone have any experience with them selling cards on their auctions / shipping from them?

Their basic premise of the platform is you can send in your cards and it gets “minted” and you can sell your cards and get 1% back for every sale of your card. You can withdraw your cards by paying the sales tax + shipping costs associated with the value of your cards (a bit pricey IMO).

I just shipped them a handful of cards as an experiment to see how it works - will report back on this thread to let people know how it goes but was curious if anyone else has experience on this platform.

Personally I see zero value proposition offered by this service so I would never use it.

Personally I dont see the excitement behind nfts. The whole point of collecting for me is to own my favorite cards psychically, and show them off. Im sure theres a niche somewhere though. Could be the reason Pokemon is testing out Pokemon Pocket. Im sure alot of people will love it.
