Reviving this topic after few years as I would like to find a forward service from US to EU (Italy)
Almost 80% of the card I still need for my collection are now based overseas and I’m tired of paying huge shipping prices from eBay for literally each single item
I saw in the thread that 2 services that are always on top on the search results on Google:
https://www.myus.com/
Any feedback on these in 2025? do you have any advice?
Thank you.

I’m interested in the middleman topic as well, and talking with other members here I suggest to also check these ones too:
- comc mailbox service
- Fishisfast
- Shipmycards
I’ve personally never tried any of those, so I can’t get into details.
Comc seems the cheapest and @joponnes ‘ favorite choice (if I recall it correctly).
I may also suggest Fanatics vault, but the process for RAW cards is indeed quite convoluted (and slow): seller ship to them → they ship to CGC for authentication → they get the card back → the card is finalized for storage → then you can have it shipped to you.
Works really well for graded slabs though!

I’ve just created now a user on COMC.com to see if I could find the shipping rates from US to EU:
So a tracked shipping is starting from 49.99 USD, I’ll try later to compare it to other services.
It’s the first time I approach this kind of service so be patient with me…
Delivery Duties Unpaid means that I’ll be charge with custom duties once the package is delivered?
Thank you.

I think it means just this, yes. You will be charged by the courier with the usual lovely VAT+duties when the package enters EU.
Keep in mind though, that many forwarding services will let you change the insured or market value of the cards, even marking goods as “gift/not sold” and so on. It depends!

ok, I really need to compare to other services because 49.99 USD with VAT and duties excluded could be an interesting price if you’re going to merge many many shipments in one, even if I tought that could be lower…
Now I have to buy a card from eBay.us and I got the shipping rates from eBay international of 19,00 USD + 22% VAT recharge.
So a card that costs around 40,00 USD + shipping I’m going to pay around 90,00 USD all included…

I haven’t used comc for almost a year so not sure if they have raised the prices but iirc there was earlier a cheaper option too, at least how you mark your cards value there affects the shipping costs a lot. If you buy anything from the comc marketplace it has the paid price marked on it but otherwise you can freely mark your cards to have any value you want. Also my friend who has shipped more packages than me from comc says that the cheapest shipping option actually has some sort of tracking too even though it says otherwise, you could always send a small package of not that important cards to test the cheapest shipping option and see how it goes

I might bite - as a Canadian, I believe we can help. I live in Quebec Montreal. I’d bite because at the moment, I’m middlemaning with my lady’s cousin.
EDIT: Disregard - I read this wrong.

Price comparison of the “big 3” services known.
Myus.com seems to have the best options, always tracked and quickest and lowest prices…but we also know not always lowest it’s synonymous with better…

After reading some nightmare review about myus.com I decided to give a try to COMC.com mail box service.
They’re specialized on cards and given that I’m buying singles the fee per card should not have a huge impact.
I’ve already ordered 2 cards from US sellers on eBay to test the service.
Let’s see how it goes!

What does COMC charge per card?
2$ package + 1$ for each card, but no time limit on storage from what I’ve understood.

Gotcha. Pretty fair pricing. The shipping gets expensive. Tracked shipping is $20-$25 not the $50 they charge. For usps atleast

Yes, but other services I found online have some review that really put me off to try them…
And we’re collectors so we can became pretty upset about losing cards that sometimes are not so easy to be found.
My idea, as suggested by @joponnes, is to keep the cards a bit longer in the mailbox and combine as many cards as possible.
Now it’s the first step, let’s see how and when the cards will arrive first at COMC.com

Hi, I got 2 questions if you can help
I see that they got an address for US and one for Canada.
If I’m buying from Canada I should indicate the Canadian address. Once the card arrives to that address I think that the item will be merged to the others on the US address… there’s an extra price for this “transfer”?
If I buy a card from COMC eBay profile, the value of the card will be marked automatically as I’ve bought it on their marketplace or I can mark it as I want like a card bought from another third party seller?
If you don’t have an idea about the question above, do you have a suggestion how to contact COMC? Based on your experience with them.
Thank you!
Both questions are something i’ve never tried, i’ve only used their US address and i’ve only bought cards from their own marketplace instead of through their ebay, i’ve been contacting their customer service via email and usually i’ve gotten quite quick responses

You used this address?

Hi there,
I hope that this update could be useful to someone else that need a service like the one offered by COMC.com, here’s my experience so far.
Every time a package is received on your mailbox, COMC.com staff will send you an email with a photo of the card(s) received and starting from that date they have 15 days to complete the registration process to your inventory.
For each card I’ve been charged $1.00 + $2.00 for the package management, although I got a discount of $0.30 (still have to understand why, but I like it!)
You can track the progress of the cards received from your profile:
Once the submission process is completed you will get an email confirming the amount charged and detail of the cards added to your inventory. Each package is managed singularly, one example of a 6 items package received from eBay:

Starting price for “Priority” is $49.99 + 0.68$ for each additional item:
Items bought directly from COMC.com website will already have a confirmed declared value while, for third party purchases, you will have to set the total value of the goods:
You can also add toploaders but I have to investigate on how the items will be shipped if I don’t buy them:
Next episode when I’ll actually ask for the shipment to Italy and all my cards will got lost!!! Ahahahahha!
I hope not and I also hope that there won’t be additional duties set by Italy in response to the ones recently set by Donald Trump administration.

About the toploader question I made:
“…when setting some items “to be shipped” you can add toploaders for each item.
My question is, if I don’t add the toploader, how these items will be shipped? There will be some kind of “protection”?”
Reply from COMC.com staff:
“Thank you for contacting us! All orders are packed safely and securely by our professional team. Exact packaging methods vary based on the value and the quantity of cards in the order.”
