We just passed the halfway point of Scarlet & Violet era,

Upcoming set trademarks:

  • September 13 - Paradise Dragona
  • October 18 - Supercharged Breaker
  • December 6 - High Class Pack: Terastal Festival
  • ??? - The Glory of Team Rocket

Other anticipatory releases:

  • Sets themed after the upcoming game Pokémon Legends: Z-A
  • 2025’s end-of-era High Class set
  • Celebratory end-of-era special box like the Precious Collector Box (SWSH) or Master Battle Set (SM)
  • 2024 Illustration Contest winner promos

What sets do you want to see in the second half of Scarlet & Violet?

What events, tournaments or collaborations would you like to see celebrated with this?

  • at least one promo with the shiny ray from the anime
  • special arts of ceruledge and annihilape as well as other favorites

if they’re going to bring back megas

  • special arts of megas that make them look more favorable

as for a set, i guess i’d like to see gen 2 and gen 3 type sets similar to 151

  • bring back radiants or something similar to them (and gold stars)

Would just like to see a set that instantly grabs my attention, other than 151 the sets all seem the same to me.

The DLC based ones have got a pattern at least, I just don’t care for the new Pokemon and I think that’s a sentiment shared by many.

An alt art for a pokemon that’s on the level of a SWSH alt art. The Greninja 214 and other alt arts from SV are just glorfied stained glass pictures with no real sense of environment or character in them IMO. The cards are by no means ugly, but when compared to their SWSH counterparts they are lacking.

If we’re talking specifics I would love to see a set based on Route 26, 27, 28 and Mt Silver. That crossover between Kanto and Johto.

Only Pokemon in these areas put into the set, and an SAR of Gold fighting his way to the top and an SAR of Red at the top with his back turned like in the games.

But something similar to Town on no Map or Holon Research Tower would suffice :laughing:

Maybe a 251 set? Or something for Gen 2 that was like 151. That’s like my dream as a mainly boomer/WOTC collector at this point.

I know I’ve been spoiled as a Froslass collector this past year, but I’d love to see some sort of Dark Froslass card or something in the Team Rocket set coming up!
Or maybe a Shiny in the high class pack in December. One of those would be cool.

But in a more general sense; If they could really go all out the next year in terms of SAR’s/AR’s in covering more species, with the Paradise Dragona set and the Team Rocket. I don’t want a repeat of Team Rocket '97/'99 or TRR, I’d like to not have an entirely Kanto based lineup in each of those sets. Give variety for the fans of other gens too. I realize they can’t leave Kanto mons out of things completely cuz that’s the bread and butter, but just share the limelight more.

I realize a 251 set is a huge copium dream and that it’s unlikely but fr TPC, you cant just do 151 and dip. PLEASE keep doing these sets. Theres other gen’s besides Gen one lol

I’m still not convinced of the tera mechanics so i would love some gimmick without it, perhaps like radiants/amazing rares/prism stars. Art rares are amazing but other special cards haven’t been on par with previous gens. Also, can these finally get the english release :smiling_face_with_tear:
