What set is this card from? Where can I find them?

Stumbled across this beautiful looking card the other day (image attached) and was wondering what set it’s from and where to find them?

If anyone knows, it would be awesome!

Hey there,
the card you are looking for seems to be from a Carddass set named “Carddass 100: Pocket Monsters Advanced Generation, Pokedex Cards Fire Red and Leaf Green, 1st Chapter (Part 1)” (カードダス100 ポケットモンスター アドバンスジェネレーション ポケモンずかんカード ファイアレッド&リーフグリーン 上巻).
I’ve got this information from this site where you can also find another image of the front and the back of the card (see below). According to the Japanese Pokemon Wiki the set was released in 2004.

Other cards of the set are out there on yahoo auctions for about 100 Yen. Unfortunately the card you are looking for seems not to be available at the moment. However, searching yahoo or mercari from time to time with the keywords “ルギア ホウオウ カード” or “ポケモン アドバンスジェネレーション カードダス” will probably lead to success.

@fushigibana 's fantastic reply has covered pretty much everything. The only thing I wanted to add is a piece of advice: try to avoid eBay when dealing with non-TCG cards like these as the mark-up on them is absurd. With a little patience I can almost guarantee you will be able to find one of these on one of the various Japanese marketplace websites (see hwww.elitefourum.com/t/japanese-marketplace-list/21709/1) for under $5 bundled in with loads of other cards, but I imagine on eBay you’d struggle to find one for less than $50.

Thanks for that! Yeah the mark up is disgusting. One guy on Facebook is selling graded versions of these for thousands of dollars :roll_eyes::roll_eyes::roll_eyes:. I just had to find out more about these sticker/cards.

Also, would you know if any of those Japanese sites ship to Australia?

The sites themselves probably won’t, but a middleman service would (Buyee, Zenmarket, Neokyo…there’s a bunch)

while randomly browsing ebay for Japanese vintage stuff, I stumbled over the following auction. Not exactly the same card but a variety of Ho-Oh and Lugia cards from the same set.
