What to do with Pokemon 2 player starter decks?

So I have like 15 of these 2 player starter decks that come with the 1st edition Machamp card in them. Haven’t had much luck selling them on ebay yet.

Doing some research I see that the Machamp card if you get it PSA graded and it comes back a 9 or 10 if could be worth some decent money. Hard thing is finding what they are really worth. Ebay has them all over the place from $20-200 or more all 9s and 10s. Also one of them has all the markings of being shadowless which makes that card worth quite a bit more.

Would it be worth it to open all of them up and sent the Machamps off to be graded as I would imagine they would get a near perfect grade being still sealed up in the boxes?

Then would could I do with the rest of the kit? just sell them individually maybe?

Anyway, I am pretty new to all of this as this was my dads thing back in the day when would sell it all on ebay. He passed away over 10 years ago so I decided to finally sell what he had left

Any advise would be great.

THANKS

Sorry to hear about your Dad, but as others will likely tell you the Machamp card is one of the most common cards out there. They came in every set. There are thousands of them around opened, sealed in plastic and the ones sealed in the starter decks. They usually sell ungraded for like $1-5. I am sure a shadowless one would be worth a little more, but they are such a common card and not many Machamp collectors so it holds little value.

which deck do you have? I have seen a rise in price for the base set 2 one, which is the only way to the Cosmo holo machamp.

Have you tried selling it on Amazon? they seem to move on there more quickly, plus you can usually sell it go more than eBay.

It is the 2 player 1st edition Starter Deck. It is the blue box the same size as the theme decks with the big pokeball on the front. Is there a way to tell if it has the Cosmo? I have never sold anything on Amazon before, is it pretty easy?

They aren’t normally that easy to get 10s in. My last ones, though all sealed and shadowless, netted:

That was ok with me cause I expected it and I needed five 9s for some of my shadowless 9 sets.
