What's your favorite Pokemon type?

With the recent removal of the fairy type in the tcg and its move into the psychic type. I was wondering what everyone’s favorite type is in the tcg? For me personally I love the grass type, but would love to see a poison type.

Dark types seem to always have cool cards and artwork.

Overall I’d say Grass because of big boy Venusaur and the other two 'saurs. Close second is Psychic cause Kadabra and Haunter. But tbh there isn’t a single type that has no cool Pokemon whatsoever :blush:

Hence the 87 in your username I’m going to conclude water type is your favorite, since dewgong is #87 in the Pokédex.

My favorite TCG typing is the Dragon type. It’s reminiscent of MTG’s multicolored cards, which also feature a lot of Dragons!

Actually I always preferred dewgong on Pokémon red as my water/ice Pokémon. It’s a cute seadog! But Articuno was more powerful so eventually I made the switch!

Since I know for a fact TPCi staff reads our posts, I’m going to suggest y’all make an Ice type for the TCG. Frosty pale blue background layout with a sick Icy icon. Strong against dragon type and weak against fire.

I would say Dragon type, I loved Lance team in pokemon yellow, I think its the coolest ever, even tho most of them were not even Dragons. Also karp has dragon DNA so… ya.

Love the steel type but gonna cheat and go with the dual typings as that is my personal favorite typing when they used to do that

Psychic! Probably biased because of how OP they were in Gen 1. Super nerdy anecdote, as a kid I thought Psychic was the only type a person could achieve. :slightly_smiling_face:
