A friend of mine found this whilst sorting through his collection, apparently he got it in a lot from Japan a few years ago that also included some base set Charizards, Corocoro Mews and a whole bunch of vintage Japanese holos. He’s unsure if the no rarity is an actual error, and if so how rare of an error it is. Or if its just a good fake. Anyone heard of/seen this before?

Ah I have one too and was puzzled by the no-rarity for a little while.
I think it’s less common than the version with rarity, but I’ve seen a few so I don’t think they’re THAT rare
I have to disagree, I believe that the WHF sheet version (glossy + rarity symbol) is quite a bit rarer. I don’t have any data though, just my anectdotal observations on ebay.
Hmm that’s interesting - I bought 4 (in separate purchases) before I had noticed there was a difference, and 3 were with rarity and one was without. It’s all very anecdotal!
