The CDC has said that anything imported from China is fine, The ‘novel coronavirus’ is very similar to MERS which has a typical life span of around 4 hours when on surfaces. As of now such ‘coronaviruses’ typically transmit from person to person through respiratory drops, ex. from sneezing or coughing from an infected individual, there isn’t much evidence if infection occurs by asymptomatic infected individuals but that seems to be the case but there’s no concrete evidence for this as of yet. Such things being placed on objects such as pokemon cards and then traveling to different countries or states have very little potential to survive and infect you.
