I got a jolteon ex 28a and it seems the texture kind of bit into the edge/back of the card (I dont know what else to call it.) You can only see it at certain angles and the card is flawless besides this.
I also got a charmeleon from legendary collection with a giant print line going across the front. See pictures for detail. Will these imperfections impact grade?
Can’t say for sure but they could…and should.
My experience with print lines is that they always impact the grade
I wish there was an easy answer. I had a card like this get a 6. I’ve also seen allowances for print lines within PSA 10 specs as well. Can you feel the line or is it a printing hiccup?
I’ve never gotten them to give me a 10 on a LC reverse holo with a print line, even though a ton of them have them.
noted. I’ll probably send them in. I’ll try to remember to report back if they actually get 10s. the jolteon’s edgewear is pretty subtle but the charmeleon print line is glaring.
Noted. I’ll probably send it in anyways. a 9 isn’t terrible. I actually found one with a similar defect that got a 9. sold recently on ebay.
