I recently was offered the following card to buy:
I was wondering if anyone knew what is considered a fair price for these Worlds “Champion” cards? This one is from 2014. As far as I know there are only 6 of these made each year, one for each World Championship winner in the VGC and TCG. Obviously these aren’t as sought after as the Worlds Trophy cards are - but they are pretty rare nonetheless of course!

I just got some info about this card from Churlocker who let me know there are only 9 made a year apparently, as the vgc players only receive one each. I also got a report from the discord that someone tried selling a newer Champs champs festival on ebay a while ago for 1700 to no success. Churlocker quoted me that it probably goes somewhere on the range of 500-1500, but its a very wide open range

They are not trophy cards. Tournament promos would be accurate.
It’s fair to casually call something like a pikachu victory ring or mew victory orb a trophy card as they were the final prizes awarded. While the stamped cards are cool, the same exact art is awarded to staff and participants.
And yes they are awarded to the earned place stated on the card. At current tournaments the champion receives every stamped version down to top 32.
