Wotc pre booster pack stage sorting box?

Hi guys,

A friend of mine recently acquired this in Australia.

Was wondering if anyone with the know how, knew if this is a legitimate item.

For me, it looks like the stage between an uncut sheet and sorting into booster packs. Cards were sorted here in a box like so, signed etc. This looks to be 4th print run Australian fossil cards.

But yeah, any help, or knowledge about what this is, would be great. Value as well.

Apparently there is 770 cards. 51 sets of 15 holos.

There were tons of these around in 2000. I think Eddie ebirdman and I partnered on a hundred sets back then. Plus another 100 jungle sets.
