Would this card get a PSA 9 (Centering)

Hi all,

long-time lurker

I know PSA state the centering parameters on their website but i swear i have seen quite off-center cards with no qualifier obtain a PSA 9. Can anyone confirm or deny this? I am thinking of submitting this card, but if it is going to get an 8, i won’t bother.

This actually might be bad enough to get an 8 but I do think the 9 is possible. I can see it going either way. I feel like I’ve seen plenty of 9s with centering like this though. If there is nothing else wrong with the card, I would expect a 9. If there are scuffs and whitening on the back edges/scratches on the foil, expect closer to an 8.

I thought as much, thanks for your input! The card is pretty much flawless besides the centering.

Meh, I’ve seen Charizards with similar centering get 9’s. If the card is flawless it’s possible.

The centering fits the 9 parameters.
