Yea haha for about 3-20x market rate ;p. I’ve bought like $20k+ of topsun singles this week alone at a fraction of the rates he is proposing. I didn’t realize he was a seller somebody would actually buy from, is he well respected as a reasonable seller?

My bad, I’d thought it was those listings that have best offer enabled. I agree they’re way above market, but I suppose he listed them way above market on purpose to gather interest.
He is on E4 & on Instagram, perhaps you can send him a reasonable offer & see how it goes!
ok and to be fair I should be less harsh, I cross checked all of my purchases to his listings and none of them directly compare but yea compared to what I have been buying most for I would consider his way way over market, so as a buyer I was offended just to look at it ;p. As a seller, maybe he gets it, I can respect that / no harm done. I did buy his 2 poliwraths from him though so not all bad
You can contact rusty (TCA) to try and workout a deal for a bunch of the Topsun cards. He is very reasonable and a great guy to work with, incredible person to have in the hobby.
He is also able to have a very deep inventory and sit on items until they sell at his asking price. People like him, pokerev, Scott, etc earn premiums on some of their items due to their name and personal brand
Im guessing he listed them like he did due to the insane growth of certain topsun cards (charizard, pikachu) and topsun in general, in August and September. I know he sold a PSA 10 Green back Charizard for $3999 Buy it now on August 7th. Fast forward to September 12 and a PSA 10 Greenback sold for $7000. Why would he list something at current market value he doesn’t need to sell if it has a realistic potential to double in the next few months if the market stays the same? Just a thought
Pokegymhero on Instagram is selling venusaur and blastoise. I’ve never done business with them so can’t vouch. Also not sure what price they’d accept but may be worth reaching out if you have IG.
I’ve learned my lesson there. After getting this stuff in hand most of it is listed at my I dont want to sell it price, as I really dont want to sell it especially knowing how low pop some of it is. Some items I would rather sit and never sell then to sell for current market price and I never see it again. The person who lists for a crazy price is still cheaper that the person who never sells.
I have a personal business rule of listing anything that is Japanese for sale. My wallet would be hurting too bad if I starting collecting Japanese cards (I do have a few exceptions to this rule)

Haha no worries at all. I had no clue who you were and you were 100% reasonable when we talked on IG. As a buyers impulse the prices on IG def felt egregious but it’s a tactic you love the stuff and maybe you get a bite. Hope you get tons of sales there, will be great for all of us!
@linkdu83 , Hi! I’m a little new here. Does topsun green back mean the background behind the Pokemon is green cuz I’ve seen like the split, the red, and then the green but I assume the back of the actual card is the ‘old back’ design that’s navy blue?
