As someone who sold a psa 8 for 3k in january this is very painful to see

You and me both brother, I sold my psa 9 for 7k around March I think…biggest financial mistake of my life. Now I’m cashing out the rest of my cards and I’m like f@#! this hobby, I’m done with it.

haha well luckily I put all the sale money back into pokemon so Im not super upset. It is rough but I hope to recover with some graded stuff returning soon

Also, the people who are paying these prices are 100% investors/speculators not collectors at all.

Nope, this much smaller game realm of the mad god. Was a fun perma death 8 bit bullet hell game but it became an incredibly pay to win grindy no fun game. I did end up quitting for good 2 years ago, but I didn’t make one of those ‘im quitting’ rants when I did.

Whenever I get the urge to play again, I go to the subreddit and quickly get turned away by the state of the game
