I think this card is getting close to the 3k range, awhile back you could have scored it for around 2k.

So nobody else wastes their time, though he doesn’t state it here the op wants a thick…not thin,

I did this once. I was called a “thread highjacker”. I’m glad that the rules have subjectively changed. Gotta love a good Ol’ double standard!

Here’s the link.

The actually numbers may be different. But the implication is the same.
I should add that I have no problems at all with people doing this.

The rules didn’t change. No mod said anything in that thread, and none in this thread either.

I see. Thanks for clarifying

No worries! They also know each other and she was just joking.

I like the idea of encouraging it, but requiring a price with the additional offer. OP’s buy price won’t go down, but most people are willing to pay slightly above their ask. Makes sense when multiple people are hunting. A Mewtwo sold this week for less than 2k. The seller would have for sure sold for more if they were aware.

Ahhh. Makes sense. Lol. Welp. My apologies for the assumption.

Yikes. I could understand this if there hadn’t been a sale in a while, but we’ve had multiple sales on eBay within the last few months of the card selling for ~$2,700. It seems like the seller cost themselves upwards of $1k by not doing even cursory research into the value of their cards.

It’s hard to judge the $2k sale without context. Was it a weak 10? Did the buyer need it gone within 24 hours on Instagram?

It takes a patient seller to achieve market prices.

It was less than 2k. Seller thought it was weak. Buyer didn’t care. Talked to them about it earlier. They confirmed one of the offers here would have been pursued. They weren’t an efour member.

Sorry everyone - was joking and I thought it was patently obvious.

I was able to see this card in person actually.

It was without a doubt a weak copy. Should not have been higher than a PSA 7. The scratches alone on the holo looked like it was in a childhood binder all these years before grading.

It was submitted for a review to PSA, who of course, claimed it was the correct grade.

It’s almost as if PSA is incredibly reluctant to shell out $2,000+ to account for their error.

sorry to get off topic, but is that how it works? You can submit a graded card for “review” to PSA? is that like getting a reholder?
also I’ll offer $2502
