Not Pokemon related but this is a collection I have been wanting to start for a while now. These cards come from the second to last set of MLP trading cards released by Enterplay, Series 4. They held a Create-a-Card contest, where fans would submit their own artwork, with the winning choices being made into cards for the Series 4 set. There were 41 winners in total, with 9 of the picks being made into holos for the set and the rest being regular cards in the set. Due to Enterplay printing less of this set compared to their previous releases and the waning sales of these cards at the time of release, cards from Series 4 aren’t necessarily rare but there is less of them out there in comparison to previous Enterplay releases. These were the only MLP cards released by Enterplay that actually contained unique artwork as opposed to clipart or screenshots from the TV show. The artists and works that won ranged from novice/young artists to more experienced fan artists
Due to MLP seeing a huge resurgence of popularity in China, it seems a lot of the cards from this set were exported there as there are a lot of listings for these cards on Chinese marketplaces. But I wanted to try my luck here first before I started going through Chinese marketplaces (worth a shot right?).
Here are all the cards with the price I am looking to pay for each. Purchase amounts are based on how much they are being sold for on Chinese marketplaces as there is little to no sales data on Ebay or Mercari. Ordered from most expensive to least expensive with pictures accompanying each.
