Love all these cards! I strongly recommend considering Japanese (I have a good mix in my collection). Other than the virtues of Japanese in general (original, authentic presentation; less susceptible to damage), they often look prettier without the “e” strip and can even be cheaper!

What quality are you looking for?

I’ve recently sold some of these for much higher for NM.

I think PSA 9s on a lot of these are more than 4X and PSA 8 at at least double the price for many as well with what is going on.

So are you looking for 6-7 quality?

I was going to say these prices are pretty cheap. Lugia ex for $100. It’s almost always a $200+ card. True NM/M are about 25-50% more than these asking prices. Doesn’t mean you won’t find some. the likelihood of finding all of them at that price is going to be pretty hard.

I mean, I am looking for NM-MT quality, and just about all of the prices I have listed here are fair for that price based on recent eBay sales and prices I have paid for PSA 9 quality EX cards over the past several weeks.

We are talking about tons of cards in these sets here and I didn’t spend hours looking into each card, so if some of the prices are slightly off, that should be understandable. This isn’t Jungle or Fossil Set where there are less than 20 holos and everyone knows exactly what these are worth. This stuff is still largely up in the air.

These prices that I have listed are baselines. I am obviously open to negotiation.

Lol. No. They’re not. As a matter of fact, the listing prices I have for some of these cards are even more than what I recently paid for them on eBay.

I double checked the Lugia and you’re right on that one. But for the rest of these cards? My asking prices are pretty accurate based on recent sales data (which there isn’t even much of).

They are 100 percent out there at or near most of these prices. Keep in mind that I am also shaving off eBay fees on the cards I have listed above, so many of my asking prices are absolutely dead on.

Again, there are some that I am surely off on (e.g. I based the Lugia off a recent $87 sale of a card that was listed as NM, but upon further inspection, it wasn’t), because there are TONS of cards in these sets and there is not much sales data even available, so it’s very easy to miss a few. But I’m not going to sit there for hours going over the prices. These prices are baselines for negotiations, and most of them should be pretty accurate.

Not at all. You’re all good.

Little tip: I actually have searches for every single EX card saved on eBay. So when you search for one of the cards, click “save” and they will show up in your saved eBay listings whenever someone lists them. Makes finding deals a lot easier.

I actually do that for some other things I’m currently looking for. But not card by card that is smart. I’ve been hacking my way through the EX cards definitely paying higher prices than you. I probably have 6 or 7 sets to go. I may try your technique for the rest. Thx

It’s not my intention to hijack nor do I mean to offend. Most of us are simply trying to offer what we think is help. It’s true that you can find them for cheaper than what you listed. You can almost always find something cheaper. However, you’re posting on a website with highest concentration of knowledgeable & high end collectors. So finding a prices that low is usually not possible here. Good luck with finding those cards and as a fan of the ex series I’ll enjoy seeing collection updates. So please share your additions.

Again, not true. The baseline prices I am offering are right around what the a lot of these cards are selling for on the market. Just because this is E4 does not mean people here are going to completely ignore the market and say, “I want to sell this $30 card for $60.”

And FWIW, I’m not sure how going into a WTB thread and saying “these cards are selling for 25 to 50 percent more than your listed prices” (which is obviously categorically untrue given the slew of examples I provided earlier in this thread [and that isn’t even all of them]) is offering help. This isn’t a price discussion thread. I mean, if you are interested in selling, you can always just PM me saying, “Hey, I have some EX cards but I would want more for them than your listed prices,” and then we could negotiate. Just saying it in the thread doesn’t really help at all.

Not trying to be a douche; just saying that arguing prices in a WTB thread is not helping.
