WTB Japanese EX Unseen Forces Porygon

I am nearing completion of my Porygon set; I am looking for the last “hard-to-find” card to add to my collection!

I am therefor looking for the Japanese EX Unseen Forces Porygon, UED, with code WW0-8F9-1UU (Can be found lower left corner).

Spoiler

Japanese Porygon

I am happy to negotiate pricing for it

· Japanese - EX Unseen Forces - non-Holo code WW0-8F9-1UU - $115

If you have it, or know someone that does/might, please send me a message!

Best Regards

Are there multiple code variations?

Yes, 4 different:

  • WW0-8F9-1UU
  • WW0-8F9-6MF
  • WW0-8F9-71B
  • WW0-8F9-WCR

These exist for both 1st edition, and unlimited certain of the Japanese, and other languages follow 4 different codes, too.

Upped the price a bit  Please help me find this last card!

Bumped it up almost 50% Would love to find it soon, so I can complete the set when my Spanish Porygon finally arrives from Mexico!

As usual the pictures are way too vague on the Japanese auctions to make out the codes, but you could try to buy this ~12 USD auction (excluding shipping/fees) containing two unlimited edition 080/106 Porygon from that Golden Sky, Silvery Ocean set and hope for the best: www.mercari.com/jp/items/m46298314174/ Or perhaps ask the seller which codes they are before making the purchase, since they sometimes answer.

@quuador,

Thanks for the link! Do you know how to contact them? (I guess I could try and create an account with a proxy…)
But any other easy-ish way?

No idea tbh. I’ve never send a message to a seller there before. Maybe @pigeonsyndicate knows? He’s from Japan and helped me with a purchase from Mercari before when a seller refused to sell to a middleman service like Buyee.

Greetz,
Quuador

Hello! I’ll message the guy and see if I can get close up photos of each card. :+1:

You are amazing, thank you!

Do you know if anyone offers services to talk/write to others like this? :stuck_out_tongue: (Of course compensated reasonably)

I don’t know of any services besides my own. And also, the link that @quuador provided has been updated with photos. Check it out, you will be happy. Also, I’m happy to buy them for ya right away, if ya want.

edit: I did buy it. Ya never know what can happen with these kinds of things, maybe the guy would take it down or whatever. I figured it’d be safer in Purchased by my hands as opposed to on mercari still. Going to bed now, we can chat about things later. Night!

Also, not to turn this buy thread into something else, but honestly, I feel like you constantly find deals for other people. How in the world do you remember enough to let people know about something and still search for your own stuff?! It’s quite impressive!

Well, I look at all threads, and simply saw the wanted card was a Japanese card. So when I’ve looked on YJ and Mercari I came across that auction and linked it.

Although I do indeed know @exomemphiz collects Porygon in all languages. He recently bought the last Spanish Holofoil ex era card and a few months back also the unlimited edition Korean Base Set card. Iirc, after this Japanese card, he only needs three easy to find English Base Set cards that he wants to get at the end, and then he will own the second 100% completed single Pokémon collection in all languages and variations after my Seviper collection. (Correct me if I’m wrong and you still need any other foreign cards, @exomemphiz .)

I wrote you a message - I really appreciate it - thank you!

(And you @quuador) - Without your help I don’t think I’d be close to a complete set at all! (I also wouldn’t have caught all the foreign cards in the list you made for me  )

You are correct - I need the Japanese Base set (both with & without rarity) and then the English Base set cards (excluding grey stamp, I have that one)
