Good luck! From experience, 2004 and 2007 are one of the hardest ones to find. With patience they’ll come up :blush:

@nuttun, ya I quickly changed goals lol. I was debating between the Porygon and tropical winds despite wanting the Porygon more I figured the tropical winds would be more accessible. Boy was I wrong haha

Hopefully I do land this card it’s been a goal of mine for quite some time I am still so upset I missed on those PWCC auctions!

If you want the porygon, I def recommend going for the cards you really want first!

However, I would keep some spare funds just in the case one of those two popped up. Here’s some historic info in case you’re interested:
I started hunting for 2004 tropical wind in Jan of 2017 ish (Japanese or even English), there was only one that was constantly listed on ebay but compared to other cards in its category (like tropical tidal wave, champions festivals, etc.) the card was listed x4 higher than a completed playset of a typical tropicals series (except for beach), and x20 higher than a champions festival. Another member was looking for the same card in Dec of 2017, and still no biters. He gave up in Oct of 2018 and got the one that was listed for more than a year on ebay. I believe I got a playset somewhere in early 2019. So it took roughly 2 years of me paying attention to listings on ebay and other sites. Of course as expected, after I got mine, another playset popped up for a while but it sold quickly too.

Thank you so much for that, I am in that situation right now where I see some listings on ebay for much higher than recently sold prices, one seems ok at 2300 usd but its an 8, a psa 9 thats almost 4x the price of last sold etc…I think having patience will deffinitely be my biggest asset here. :grin:
