WTB nice PSA7 thick stamp 1st edition zard

Hey there people. Was looking for 8’s before. But I think I’ve come to terms I’ll be more at the 7 point. Willing to pay 2400 for a nice PSA 7 or one of the 3 7.5’s in the world for 3000. I’m serious and can pay right away. Thank you .

There’s one on ebay for 2k right now:

I know, but SO off centre. Do you think it would be worth getting still?? Maybe try to regrade for an 8 OC. The back and front look clean.

That is not off centered enough for the OC qualifier. It is also a thin stamp so keep that in mind.

Yeah I know this is true lol

I would not get it to get it regraded!

thats a solid 7. If you’re willing to spend 2400 on a 7, why not just get the one linked above?

I’d rather have a mildly OC card than a card with more scratches / dents / whitening that makes it a 7.

How do you know it’s a “solid 7?” (not saying you’re wrong, but just wondering given that it is significantly off centre and the pictures don’t show the foil or edges close up or clearly)

If you don’t mind the OC issue, then why not go for it? Personally, I get easily irked by OCs.
I’d rather have a 7 with a good and well-centered front but bad back, lol.

That’s a very strong 7, plus the seller is a member here so you might save a few bucks. Yes it’s OC, but it’s not a Mint card you’re buying.

Then again, I guess it comes down to personal preference.

Can you please submit an essay on why you think its a strong 7. Double spaced with a works cited attached. Thanks

What information are you basing your assessment of the condition on? (ssjc said merely that he was basing his assessment on “cause.”)

It’s irresponsible to pretend to know and represent significant facts about the card when you have at least one serious possible buyer on this thread.

I don’t have to explain anything to you. I offered my opinion, you wanted more details, I declined to answer, you cried wanted more, and here we are philosopher

Apologies, Sir.

It’s just an opinion. The only actual fact we have is that it got a grade of 7.

This card would possibly get 7.5-8 easy if it was well centered. Again that’s my opinion based on the only 2 pictures provided. Now obviously if I was dropping $2k on a card I’d ask questions and especially angled pictures to see what the surface looks like.

If you have no information to support your opinion, that’s fine. Thank you for making that clear now.

But, of course, a reasonable buyer won’t be basing a $2000 purchase on your admittedly unsupported opinion.

Do you dissagree or agree with his opinion?

Thank you for finally recognizing the real issue (and our lack of knowledge about the condition): The strength of the 7 is not clear on the basis of those two pictures alone.

This isn’t science dude. We look at a card and if we’re happy with it we buy it. It seems like there’s 2 people that prefer a good centering and more damage, and people like ssjc and I would probably opt for this copy that looks quite clean for a 7 although it’s offcentered. That,s all I can say really.

What do you have to add to this discussion? Do you have a 7 for OP or do you have an opinion on the linked card?
