looking to finish out the rest of the holos I need. Some of these I haven’t seen sell in awhile so I’m sure some prices I list are low. These are just a starting point. I am willing to haggle on price. I don’t have the funds to buy all of these a once only one or two at a time, but seeing how little they pop up I am just posting them all. Let me know. I mean, a zap just sold for 1800 and I’m the one that pushed it that high. Same with the magneton that sold on pwcc last week. I also pushed it that high. So if you factor in eBay fees and things like that my $1600 offer for those cards isn’t far off. The rest of the cards I haven’t seen sell in awhile. You seem to know it all, would love to have some constructive input. Thanks
edit: also I purchased a alakazam at pwcc a month or two ago for 1650 a raichu a few weeks back for $1600 and a clef just a couple weeks ago for $1650 that and these recent sales is what I based my prices off
I don’t know it all. Most of these cards were listed on eBay for $2,000+ none of them are around anymore.
I personally don’t like using past sales for Base 1st edition. I like to look at what is available, especially for PSA 10 grades. The only one selling is looking for $3000+ for theres. I’m not saying you need to be at those prices, but don’t try and get these for cheap, you’ll regret it when you’re paying twice the price next year.
I can agree with you on some points. Looking at past sales months ago probably aren’t very accurate but when a card just sold 2 hours ago at auction i feel its a good judge of price at the current time. Most prices are, if you factor in Ebay fees, pretty close to nett value.
Like Cullers said, you won’t find a Chansey, Hitmonchan or Mewtwo for those prices tho
For something like a Hitmonchan expecting more around 2500 usd
Mewtwo probably around 2250 usd (comparing it to alakazam in value)
Chansey probably around 2500 or even more
Hitmonchan and Chansey are both low pop cards. Both in the 40’s. While Mewtwo is a far more desirable Pokémon/card than the others you are trying to buy.

Thanks for the reply. I changed the offer prices of the OP to reflect this. Again, i’m not trying to get a “deal” I was just going off what i have seen sell +fee ect. I havent seen some of these cards for sale (The three you listed) that’s why i posted “some of these may be low”

I would like to say that auction prices for many of these high tier cards will not reflect the value that the seller will actually place on these cards. It’s pretty clear that culler believes the 1st ed to be valuable and growing more valuable every day, so he is suggesting the “above” auction prices to counter your argument, which is fair. It’s like real estate in a seller’s market. The price will be above market prices, to account for the great potential for increase in value. I think in the future when posting prices, just stand in the shoes of a seller. What if you had these cards and was considering selling them? Again, you will find people willing to sell for lower prices, if you are patient and the timing is right. Good luck. I got a Zap for $1500 last month.

I bought my hitmonchan for 1800 in February which I feel was evenly priced. I’m pretty sure the next one you see sells for 3500 or more… I haven’t seen one since I bought mine. chansey is gonna push 3k atleast as well I bet. these 2 are monsters to get
