You really should reconsider the 1st ed charizard. I recommend looking into the shadowless version. It’s far rarer and a 100% guaranteed investment
If you’re so concerned with strength within a grade then you should seriously consider a 9.
i think the OP wants a 9 in an 8 case, and will pay above 8 market value.
Don’t we all lol. My advice? If you want a 9…buy a 9. Not an 8 or 10.
Id buy a 9 if i could afford a 9. Its more about being happy with the 8. Tbh i wouldnt even regrade with all the psa fees and risk of cracking etc. Just want a nice copy 
doesnt need to be a 9, just dont want a 7
