Hey guys! I’m trying to consolidate my collection and would prefer to do so by trading rather than taking the time to sell all these packs and then buy. I have 52 WOTC era English booster packs and 13 Japanese booster packs that I’d like to trade for a sealed Mint/Near Mint booster box. These are original sealed packs. Here’s what I have for trade (number in parentheses is quantity):

I understand that loose packs are not as valuable as packs in sealed boxes, which is why I’m offering 65 packs for a sealed box of 36. I’m open to other WOTC era boxes and I have a few additional miscellaneous WOTC packs and lots of theme and starter decks to up the value of the trade if the box is worth more than these packs.

I bought 3 of the base set packs as weighed light, but everything else has been purchased overtime as unweighed. I don’t have a scale small enough to measure the packs, so I really have no clue how many are light vs. heavy. Probably safe to assume that most are light.
Also, these loose packs are probably valued at $2,500 - $3,000. Consider the time it would take to sell individually and package and risk returns/losses. The trade value is quite low.

Thank you for the feedback, guys! I understand that loose packs aren’t as appealing as a sealed box, so I’m placing a trade value of $2,500 on the 65 booster packs + the shadowless booster pack. To make up the difference in trade (depending on the box), I have several other items I’d be willing to negotiate:
-15 Spanish base set packs
-8 various WOTC era theme and starter decks
-Pop series 1-9 pack set (including pop 5)
-Sealed Gym Heroes Theme Deck Display box w/ 8 decks
I want to use the English booster packs to make up most of the value of the trade, but if there’s something you want/don’t want, I feel confident we can come to a deal that works for both parties.

Its going to take a lot for someone to want to trade a booster box for loose packs - it doesn’t make sense for the trader to do that unless the trade value is VERY good
I’d give the post a few days to sit but if no bites, I recommend selling the packs and build up the funds to buy a booster box
